“Yoga is the dance of life-and I’m here to guide you as you find your rhythm.”

In my early twenties, struggling with mental health issues and anxiety, Savasana often felt impossible for me. Lying still with my thoughts racing, made me feel exposed and overwhelmed. More often than not, I would leave class before it ended. It wasn’t until I met a compassionate yoga teacher who truly saw me that everything began to shift.
During those vulnerable moments of Savasana, she would gently offer a foot rub or a comforting touch on my head, grounding me in my body and easing my anxiety. For the first time, I was able to stay through the entire class, experiencing a deep sense of safety, calm, and belonging. That feeling was life-changing. It showed me that healing was possible through presence, connection, and care.
Because of that experience, I’m now able to hold space for my students with the same patience, care, and compassion that once helped me find my own sense of safety and healing.

“Lori has a creative way, through sequential repetition, of building on her students muscle memory to enhance agility and performance. Before we know it, we students of all ages, astonish ourselves in rising to meet new challenging postures not previously contemplated.”

“I have taken Lori’s Gentle Yoga, Restorative and Vinyasa/Hatha classes and fell in love with yoga. Lori’s bright smile and energy made me feel comfortable the moment I entered her class. I was very nervous being a beginner, but Lori is an attentive and intuitive teacher who adapts every pose to work for everyone in the room.”
